Winnipeg’s business community continues to inspire and drive our city forward. On May 27, we’ll shine a spotlight on 13 outstanding businesses at our 17th Annual Spirit of Winnipeg Awards, celebrating their dedication and contributions to Winnipeg.
Today, we’re excited to announce this year’s finalists.
And the finalists are...
1. Technology and Innovation

MoveMobility is Canada’s leading provider of Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles, focusing on designing, developing, and delivering innovative solutions that remove barriers to healthcare and transportation.
Mittohnee Pogo’ohtah is a business accelerator and incubator at RRC Polytech created by and for Indigenous entrepreneurs. It’s built on Indigenous knowledge, innovation, and community strength, while also helping entrepreneurs succeed in today’s business landscape.
Uphouse Inc. is a marketing, PR, and talent agency that elevates in-house teams and the brands they promote. They work collaboratively with clients to make their marketing stronger, their ideas bigger, and their jobs easier.
2. Environment and Sustainability
Habitat for Humanity Manitoba is a not-for-profit housing organization that believes everyone deserves a safe and decent place to live, while also operating retail home improvement stores called Habitat ReStore.
HTFC Planning and Design is a firm specializing in landscape architecture, community and resource planning, economic development, urban design, and interpretive design.
Manitoba Habitat Conservancy is the province’s largest environmental not-for-profit organization, dedicated to conserving, restoring, and enhancing fish and wildlife habitats and populations.
3. Workplace Culture and CODE

Agape Table is an independent, charitable nonprofit organization dedicated to providing meals to Winnipeg’s most vulnerable people, serving every guest with dignity, respect, compassion, and joy.
Mother Earth Construction is the Clan Mothers Healing Village & Knowledge Centre’s carpentry and construction social enterprise, providing hands-on training in carpentry and natural building for Indigenous women and Two Spirit participants.
Peg City Car Co-op is Manitoba’s only carsharing service and a consumer cooperative owned by its members. They offer safe, reliable, and inclusive carsharing as a practical alternative to car ownership.
5. Spirit of Winnipeg Recipient
