Unveiling Winnipeg Chamber Way

October 4, 2024

During our Open House on Tuesday, September 24, in our new corner space at 200 Portage Avenue, the City of Winnipeg unveiled our honourary street: Winnipeg Chamber Way.

Our open house was the first time we opened our doors to the public since relocating to the iconic intersection of Portage and Main. We welcomed 100+ members and friends to connect with Chamber staff, fellow members and community leaders with guided tours and a sweet treat courtesy of Chaeban Ice Cream.

The day also included the special installation of our honourary street name, which you can view just outside our office. This marks our continued commitment to our downtown, our members and our community, a sign we hope stands to celebrate our next 150 years as The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce.

“This space is more than just a new office. It’s a launchpad. Designed with collaboration, creativity, community, inclusivity and accessibility at its core.” – Loren Remillard, President and CEO

We’ve created a place where our members can connect not just with us but with other like-minded organizations. Sharing our halls with Centreport Canda, World Trade Centre Winnipeg and Manitoba Environmental Industries Association means we’re better equipped to solve the big challenges facing Winnipeg, whether it’s economic development, environmental sustainability, or community leadership.

We hope our new office is a welcoming space where members can drop in, connect and share ideas. Whether you’re there for a meeting, an event, or just to say hello, we want you to see this as your space. Where you make connections, spark innovations, and shape the future of our community.
