March 26 at 8:30 am - 12:00 pm

ABOUT EVENT:

How to Build an AI Governance and Safe-Use Policy: A Manitoba AI Pathways Workshop

Speakers: Danielle Graff and Nicolas Joubert of MLT Aikins

AI adoption is accelerating. But where does speed without control lead?

In this workshop backed by expert knowledge of Canada’s legal artificial intelligence landscape, technology lawyers from MLT Aikins will help you assess and approve your AI initiatives, so you can manage your growth with clarity and confidence.

Together, you’ll take on interactive exercises and a facilitated tabletop scenario based on real-world proposals, giving you the chance to apply the concepts you learn in a practical setting.

You’ll exit this session with a clearer view of:

  • The legal, privacy, and operational risks tied to AI use
  • What responsible AI governance looks like for your business
  • How to evaluate AI proposals through a structured, risk-aware lens

This event is part of Manitoba AI Pathways, led by the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce and The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the broader chamber network.
