AI for Nonprofits: A Manitoba AI Pathways Workshop

June 11 at 8:30 am - 12:00 pm

ABOUT EVENT:

AI For Nonprofits

Speakers: Blueprint Inc. Neralake Inc.

AI is already part of your organization, whether you have a policy for it or not. Now the challenge is using it responsibly, practically, and in a way that actually sticks.

In this interactive, hands-on workshop designed specifically for non-profit leaders, you’ll join Blueprint Inc. and table facilitators from Neralake Inc. to work through AI adoption using your own organization as the starting point. Sessions are structured so that you’re not just listening; you’re applying frameworks to your real context in real time.

You’ll move through a focused, fast-paced session designed to feel like working time, not training time. Expect discussion prompts, live demonstrations, and small group work every step of the way, with a clear output you can take back to your team.

You’ll exit this session with a clearer view of how to:

  • Identify low-risk, high-value AI use cases that fit your non-profit right now
  • Understand the line between personal and professional AI use and why it matters
  • Build or refine an internal AI policy grounded in ethics, privacy, and accountability

Whether you’re just beginning to explore AI or already using it and wondering if you’re doing it right, register now to leave with something concrete you can put to work immediately.

This event is part of Manitoba AI Pathways, led by the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce in partnership with The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce and the broader chamber network.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

With more than 20 years of experience in public engagement and strategic planning, Michelle Kuly helps governments, foundations, and non-profits turn complex conversations into clear, actionable direction. As Founder and CEO of Blueprint Inc. and Founding Partner of Neralake Inc., she specializes in helping organizations navigate change thoughtfully and move from dialogue to decisions that stick.

Her background spans complex multi-stakeholder initiatives, strategic facilitation, and organizational alignment, where she has supported communities and institutions through some of their most consequential planning processes. Michelle brings a deep commitment to inclusive, practical leadership, and a strong connection to the Manitoba community she has called home her entire life.

With a background spanning entrepreneurship, economic development, and strategic communications, Matt Schaubroeck specializes in helping impact-driven organizations grow and thrive. As part of the Neralake Inc. team, he works with startups and founders to transform ideas into growing companies, where he brings a grounded, practical approach to every stage of the journey.

His experience includes leadership roles at North Forge Technology Exchange and Economic Development Winnipeg, where he supported programming, corporate communications, and community-focused growth initiatives. Matt also volunteers globally through Catalyste+, having completed projects across three continents in support of organizations around the world.

A TEDx Winnipeg speaker and Manitoba Communicator of the Year (CPRS, 2019), Matt brings both the credibility and the energy of someone who has built things from the ground up, and knows what it takes to keep them moving forward.

With a PhD in Signal Processing and Machine Learning, Rashmi Boragolla brings deep technical expertise in analyzing complex problems and building thoughtful, scalable solutions. As part of the Neralake Inc. team, she combines rigorous analytical thinking with a genuine curiosity and drive for continuous learning, approaching every challenge as an opportunity to go deeper and do better.

Her background bridges technical precision and human-centered leadership, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, empathy, and making meaningful impact. Not just on the systems she designs, but on the teams and communities she serves.

With a background in digital marketing and AI integration, Matthew Schellenberg works with a diverse roster of clients across North America, bringing a pragmatic, workflow-first approach to how and when AI tools should be deployed. As part of the Neralake Inc. team, he specializes in identifying the specific points in a workflow where AI adds genuine value, without losing the human elements that make the work meaningful.

His experience spans building custom AI tools from scratch, consulting on AI workflow integration, and helping teams set up systems that meaningfully improve how work gets done rather than adopting technology for its own sake. Matthew brings a grounded, practical perspective to AI adoption, focused on amplifying what people already do well rather than replacing it.
