Working Smarter with AI: Practical Prompting for Better Business Results

Whether you use ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, or Claude, the quality of your AI results depends on the information, context, and direction you provide. In this hands-on workshop, Adam van Schijndel of Focused Forward will share practical techniques for generating more accurate, useful, and business-ready outputs.
Through live demonstrations, guided exercises, and real-world examples, participants will learn how AI can support productivity, communication, planning, research, and day-to-day business operations.
By the end of the session, attendees will be able to:
- Apply a structured prompting framework to generate high-quality outputs
- Protect business information through practical privacy and governance practices
- Improve AI responses by refining results and reducing common mistakes

- Build workflows tailored to your role, team or department
Attendees will also receive a take-home digital toolkit containing practical templates, AI guidance resources, and reference materials they can apply immediately in their day-to-day work.
Participants will be grouped by role or area of focus for peer collaboration and are encouraged to bring a laptop to participate in live exercises.
This event is part of Manitoba AI Pathways, led by the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce and The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the broader chamber network.
