After Business Mixers
Come out after work to network over appetizers in an informal, out-of-the-ordinary setting. The Chamber hosts three mixers per year (September-June).
AGM
Attend The Chamber's annual general meeting, usually held in October, at which time the mayor swears in the incoming chair, who outlines The Chamber's mandate for the ensuing year.
Ambassadors
Get an insider’s perspective on Winnipeg’s business community, while increasing your profile and that of your business. The Ambassadors program is about volunteerism, networking and professional development. The Ambassadors meet once a month (September-June) over breakfast.
Chamber Golf Classic
With more than 700 tournaments a year in Winnipeg, The Chamber Golf Classic has become one of the most prestigious. A tradition since 1990, the Golf Classic is held every June.
Chapter Program
Get to know and network with a small group of Chamber members over lunch, generate leads for your business, hear from speakers and tackle issues affecting your community. The Chamber has three Chapters - North (meets first Thursday of every month), St. James (meets second Tuesday of every month) and South (meets third Wednesday of every month). Members are welcome to attend any or all meetings.
High School Program
More than 25 high schools participate in the program, which provides students the tools, knowledge and connections to become leaders of tomorrow. They meet about four times a year to dialogue with the mayor and premier and to learn about career options.
Leadership Winnipeg
Volunteer Manitoba and The Chamber offer a 10-session program (October through June), which gives participants from all walks of life the knowledge, skills and respect for diversity required of our future leaders.
Membership Luncheons
Join anywhere from 200 to 1,000 guests at our monthly luncheons (September to June) and make new contacts, hear from top political, community and business leaders and visit display booths showcasing our members.
Member Orientations
Get to know your Chamber staff, what they do and what The Chamber is all about by attending our member orientations, held every alternate month, beginning in the fall.
Spirit of Winnipeg Awards Gala
Celebrate Winnipeg business and community organizations which choose to do things differently and exemplify the best in innovation. Applications for the awards must be received by December. Recipients and finalists are recognized at a gala dinner in March.
We Believe Breakfasts
Hear from Winnipeggers who could go anywhere in the world and be successful, but they choose to stay here and make our city a vibrant, exciting place to live. They share their stories over breakfast, every second month beginning in September.
We Believe Toastmasters
Learn how to conquer your fear of public speaking and develop your leadership skills in a supportive environment. The Chamber Toastmasters group meets every second Friday at 7:30 a.m.
