Civic Election Survey Results For City Council

Prior to the Oct. 27 civic election, The Chamber asked candidates a series of 22 questions to determine just how business-friendly they are.

Each candidate was graded on his or her response, being given one point for each "Yes" answer, for a possible total of 22 points, which was then translated into a percentage score. The Chamber is pleased that of the current council make-up, 11 of the 16 councillors completed our survey, which will be used on an ongoing basis to ensure they are held accountable on issues important to the business community.
