PeopleFirst HR Services Compensation Survey
The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce has partnered with PeopleFirst HR Services, Manitoba’s largest full-service human resources consulting firm, to conduct an annual survey that provides local employers with reliable Manitoba labour market information in a searchable, electronic format (printed formats are available for an additional fee).
The survey:
- Ends the guessing game and helps employers stay on top of total compensation practices and trends - cash compensation, benefits and workplace practices
- Ensures that people critical to the survival and success of local businesses are adequately compensated before they consider looking elsewhere
- Helps save time and reduce recruitment costs by offering potential new hires compensation packages that are competitive
- Provides access to reliable, up-to-date local compensation information that helps with employee communications and management discussion
Data is presented in two separate reports, along with a Small Business Report for companies of 25 employees or less:
The Cash Compensation Report presents data by job and according to a variety of scope, size and industry indicators. Each job-related report includes details on base and target salary, target and actual bonuses, and incentives.
The Benefits and Employment Practices Report presents data by organizational level (executive, supervisory and management, professional, technical and other) and is also reported by several size and industry indicators. This component includes a variety of information on benefits and employment practices, such as health, dental, retirement plans, vacation, hours of work, etc.
Employers who complete the survey questionnaire receive a 50 per cent discount on the regular price of the reports. Members of The Chamber receive a 15 per cent discount on the regular price of the reports, regardless of participation.
