TOUR ITINERARY
Day 1 - DEPART FROM CANADA
Board your international flight. Dinner onboard aircraft.
Day 2 - ARRIVE DELHI
On arrival in Delhi enjoy a traditional welcome at airport with garlands. Later transfer to hotel and overnight at hotel in New Delhi.
Day 3 - DELHI
Morning sightseeing of New Delhi, where you will visit QUTUB MINAR, the victory tower started by
Qutub-Ud-Din, in 1199 AD upon becoming Sultan of Delhi. Marvel at the amazing Baha’i LOTUS TEMPLE, a marble symbol of peace, RAJGHAT, the cremation ground of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation, INDIA GATE (the war memorial), PARLIAMENT BUILDING and the PRESIDENT’S HOUSE. Overnight stay at hotel in New Delhi.
Day 4 - DELHI - JAIPUR
Following a lavish buffet breakfast at your hotel in Delhi, stop by for a visit at BIRLA TEMPLE. Drive to Jaipur and check into hotel. Evening enjoy a GEM-CUTTING & POLISHING demonstration as Jaipur is one of the world’s most noted gem producers. Evening at leisure or attend pre set BUSINESS MEETINGS in Jaipur. Overnight stay at hotel in Jaipur.
Day 5 - JAIPUR
Morning visit to AMBAR PALACE of the Kuchchawa rulers. Enjoy a ride on elephant-back (Subject to availability) like the Maharajas Fort. Later experience the art of CARPET WEAVING, BLOCK PRINTING & TURBAN wearing demonstration, which plays a vital role in Rajasthani life. Afternoon half-day tour of the PINK CITY with a visit to the CITY PALACE MUSEUM, which contains the original collection of the Maharajas of Jaipur, HAWA-MAHAL (photo stop). Overnight stay at hotel in Jaipur.
Day 6 – AGRA - JAIPUR
Morning after breakfast drive to Agra, en-route visiting FATEHPUR SIKRI - Old Deserted town of
Mughal Dynasty. Upon arrival in Agra, check into Hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Agra.
Day 7 – AGRA
Following breakfast at your hotel, enjoy a morning half-day sightseeing tour of the massive
AGRA FORT, which was seat of Mughal rulers for decades. Visit ITMAD-UD-DULLAH, a yellow marble tomb highlighted with black & white marble, built for Noorjehan’s parents, the prettiest queen of Jehangir. Later, enjoy MARBLE CRAFTSMANSHIP demonstration of inlay work into marble of precious and semi-precious gems. Overnight stay at hotel in Agra.
Day 8 – AGRA - DELHI
Sunrise visit to THE TAJ MAHAL, India’s most fascinating masterpiece. This magnificent tomb is a living symbol of the monumental passion of Shahjehan for his queen Mumtaz. [Optional: Enjoy a memorable TONGA ride (horse carriage) up to the legendary Taj Mahal]. Return to Hotel for breakfast and freshen up to leave on a bus-ride to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, evening at leisure or attend pre set BUSINESS MEETINGS. Late evening transfer to the international airport to connect with international flight for Canada.
Day 9 – ARRIVE BACK IN CANADA
Arrive in the morning.
